Hi, guys! Enjoy your camping trip in Lassen. Hubby and I and the kids did that often years ago when we lived in CA. I miss the mosquito and humidity free environment of Northern California. I enjoyed seeing you again when I was in SJ.

Maybe I can be your 3rd person viewing your blog. ;)
I totally agree that the sealed plastic lid is VERY important in the experience!! :) Hope you guys had a good hike today. I went to the aquarium here in Denver today. Would rather have been sitting atop the 4th street garage. :)

As always...one man's trash is another's treasure. If you still have that upper glove box lid..I'd love to buy it from you. Mine has received some teenager damage and needs to be replaced. So, it's either install my own carputer...or replace the lid.

I believe your mom may still be around with you, kind of guiding angel, so her soul triggers your unconscious mind sometimes.

Recently, I read a book* by a psychiatrist he practises regression therapy in Miami. He discovered reincarnation and past life experiences from his patients.

I think he is not insane though it sounds psychic. The book inspires my thinking about life and soul, pretty interesting.

Hey Ed,
I love hearing about your adventures around the world and travelling vicariously with you. I retired in June and am still in Delray Beach. Write sometime and let me know what you are up to. Take care. jacquie

Thanks, though I don't really like the skinny active region. I'll probably switch to a different theme at some point. Maybe the same one as on http://www.greenvalhalla.com/. I also haven't decided if I want to try to integrate my gallery with the WordPress blog.

Hey Uncle Ed,

Just put 7.04 on a old (P4, yadda, yadda) compaq, with Hauppague-PVR 150, and 250GB HD, for my new MythTV DVR! the feisty fawn install was smooth (athough I wasn't really paying attention and I think i missed the place where I could custom install, that is, it just installed, and i never got the chance to pick development packages, etc., oh well, apt-get works great.) Oh and if you haven't built the DVR yet (see your new year's post) the MythTV-ubuntu set up seems to work.
